The GSV has offered education to the children of Groningen city and the wider region for over 100 years. It is a primary school situated in the Helpman area in the South of Groningen. The school, providing for over 600 pupils, has three different departments at present, each with its own unique concept.

RUG Rijksuniversiteit Groningen

Age 18 till 88
The Rijksuniversiteit Groningen has a rich academic tradition that goes back to 1614. This tradition produced the first female student and the first female lecturer in The Netherlands, as well as the first Dutch astronaut and the first president of the European Central Bank. The university has its roots in the north of The Netherlands and cherishes special ties with the region.
